Hey again

Story Barrio is a new creative chapter for me.

Launched in January 2018 by Beata Palinska and myself, it started around May 2017. It’d taken several months (on and off) to create the first collection of stories for teaching, inspired by authentic materials – text-based, audio and visual.

And not only that… Story Barrio is not just stories for the classroom but also a diary of an ongoing learning experience. Apart from the classroom-ready stories, Story Barrio  features what we discover about the art of crafting stories. When writing our stories, we are learning from those who excel at crafting narratives, exploring the secrets of screenwriting and story creation. Whatever we learn,  we turn into short posts with tips for aspiring story writers among ELT resources designers. It feels good to learn, create and share what you learn in the process.

The stories (Story Repository) and tips (Story Spice) are available on the blog – 24/7.
